iPhone App
It's been a while since I've posted anything. I've made some progress on a few projects, but most progress has been made toward creating an iPhone App. In November, I got a 'Sams Teach Yourself' book. That may not mean anything to many people, but I do own quite a few of these books. They generally have to do with teaching yourself some type of programming language in 24 hours or 21 days. My new one is obviously for learning how to program for the iPhone!
Following the book, I've created apps with buttons, animations, webpages, and other interfaces. I've embellished some of them a bit in an attempt to get more out of the learning process. One day soon, I hope to submit an app to be sold (most likely for $0.00 until I can come up with something worth paying for) in iTunes! Now, if only I had a brilliant idea for something that a few million iPhone owners would be willing to pay $0.99.
Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?

Showed this to dad...he said, "OK"...an app that will make the phone always be right side up no matter how you hold it. USE- for when Jordan lost the use of the top 2 rows, if you turn it differently, the top changes....
Darwin has a Sam's Teach Yourself Java Programming.
I don't know much about apps but here goes: The interest calculator, the pay down debt or invest calculator (I love what you sent me, I keep changing the numbers just to see), a recipe app (one that can convert the amount of ingredients needed based on how many servings), can you watch live TV on your iPhone? That would be pretty cool. What about piano keys so you can play songs...
I just had an idea last week - a running calendar and log. Something that helps you plan a training schedule (exe. for a marathon), including distances and types of runs. Then, a log that records you distances, paces, shoe mileage, and any notes you might make. Graphs are helpful both to make the schedule and to see your progress.
I have a spreadsheet that does some of what I'd like, but a real-live application would be better - especially if you could tie it to a GPS, calendar, mp3 player, and some of the other cool things the iPhone has.
