When I got home, Wally (Travis Bodily) had the Mowabbs. However, I was able to find the previous year's style - the last pair, and just my size (in a lighter gray with purple and orange accents) at Foot Locker in the Layton Hills Mall. I was so excited. Between those two pairs of Yewtahs, I found a love for Nike shoes that just hasn't subsided... I didn't realize it until just now, but I think those shoes inspired my color scheme for this blog. Oh how I wish I could find another pair...

It is my second favorite shoe of all time. Mine was a tan/brown mid-top with forest green and dark purple accents.
Of course, the following year, Nike changed the shoe again (it was still nice, in fact, I think that I've owned at least two more pairs that are descendants of the first style, but none quite as nice.) The following year, while I was in Park City at the Outlet Malls, I found the first year style that was gray or silver with purple accents. I would have bought it for myself but it was a woman's shoe and they didn't have any my size. Amy Hadley, who was my best friend from Fremont High School and my girlfriend at the time, bought them instead.
